If your beliefs are so fragile that being exposed to different ways of thinking will threaten them then you have a serious faith crisis, just look at Pope Francis himself and all the efforts that he is making to approach other denominations of Christianity. By the way, how can you possible study a different type of thinking without comparing it to your own? How can you reach any conclusions if you don't?
Parent should teach by example, simply sending your kids to a Catholic School is not going to cut it. Parents should act and be the living enboidement of the religion they claim to follow, only then can they expect their children to grow up and be men and women of good. Cramming a bunch of dogmatic teaching into your child's head is a recipe for disaster if your acts don't follow your words. Don't teach religion, be it.
If you truly believe that live begins at conception then the only coherent position is to regard all abortions as the murder of an innocent, regardless of the actual circumstances that resulted in said pregnancy.
This is the only position that will align with your belief system since you are defending a principle in general, the sanctity of life, the opposite of that is to fall into moral relativism and have this plastic set of ethics depending on circumstances.
Regarding this matter I happen to have more respect for the people that have absolute positions: you either believe that all life is sacred or you don't consider the unborn a life so abortion should always be an option regardles of the circumstances.
