  • I think that I do.  I am somewhere in between whether or not they are real people or if they are something more though.  That said, I do think that we can find some here on earth, but maybe there is more out there.
  • This has always been an interesting topic for me, and it immediately reminded me of the movie about Kevorkian for some reason.  At a certain point I think that there is an argument for both sides, and I am really pretty open on this one.
  • I have come to think that it is all the same, and it makes it harder to harder to think about people fighting over it.  I know that there is probably more to it than that, but trying to understand it all just makes my head spin.
  • I do not know much about his involvement with the role of women in the church, but I am interested now.  I have just never really thought about that before, so I will need to go do a little research here.  Thanks for the input though.
  • It is an interesting discussion, from a while lot of angles too.  I have changed over time, and at one point I would have said "put a bullet in their head" to save the costs, which now I think is pretty harsh, although many people will still say the…
  • No the Pope had nothing to do with this.  I am not one hundred percent sure on the situation there and the politics and history behind everything, but I did see a story about how these sorts of claims and links were all bogus.  I never like seeing a…
  • Well I think that a lot of people are thinking like this.  Personally I would not be ready to go so far as to say obsolete, but it is making it more difficult for churches to reach out, I would say.  They have to compete against a lot more now, and …
  • I have never heard of that if your son is a priest thing, but that is interesting, and probably a little outdated, but I could be wrong.  That said, I agree that it is not really the most prestigious or high-ranking title as it maybe once was, or an…
  • Well the truth is that there are extremists for everything.  Throughout history you can pick out examples of any of these groups or religions having extremist tendencies and followers, so it is really nothing new.  I just think there is more shock v…
  • Well just like school and everything else, I still need the physical copy.  I have been getting a little more tech friendly though, and I am using my table a little bit this semester, although that is mostly just because I do not have access to to a…
  • I have always had a interest in learning about other religions, but to be honest I have never really taken the time to sit down and really put the time in.  I am busy of course, but we all are and I know that it is really a lame excuse at this point…
  • Well I would say that just because it is not mentioned in the Bible, that is not really a reason to question its usage.  I mean, not that I write that, I guess you can really question anything you want to, but so I will just say that I hope it is no…
  • Well this is certainly an interesting and pretty heavy topic for a Monday afternoon, but I will oblige.  I love how a lot of the responses are drawing back on what they thought as a kid, and so when I think back all that way I am confronted with a s…
  • Well we all know that this is a touchy and sensitive subject for a lot of people out there, so I will process with caution.  To be completely honest I am still not really sure where I stand on issues like this, because I get both sides.  I happen to…
  • Well this is a little deeper than I planned on getting on a Monday afternoon, but I cannot say that it is a bad thing.  I do like the simplicity of some of the answers, and of course we all know that there is really no right or wrong answers here.  …
  • I tend to go in phases when it comes to my belief in these things.  I remember when I was a kid I absolutely believed in them though, and I was often scared of creepy places and things of that nature.  Since getting older, though, I just naturally s…
  • Well I have to be honest I never really thought that anyone would be against teaching it to children, but users like @artyarson do make some good points.  I kind of think that the kids do not really buy all the way in anyways, though, so a lot of th…
  • Well this is certainly an issue where people get sensitive, which often times makes it hard to have an honest discussion about it.  I think that this is a belief that a lot of people share, but on the other hand, you have people out there who know w…
